Recently, XCMG and Saud Bahwan Group, a local distributor in Oman, jointly launched a comprehensive upgrade project for Oman Spare Parts Center。 After the upgrade, Oman Spare Parts Center will be able to meet the growing needs of customers, expand its influence in Oman and even to the whole Middle East region, and create favorable conditions for the launch of XCMG new generation ZD series products。
As an important area along the " Belt and Road" route, XCMG first entered Oman market in 2005。 Over the past ten years as of its establishment, XCMG Oman Spare Parts Center has set up a complete spare parts supply system in the local area to provide customers with complete sets of spare parts and all-round services。 In recent years, with the increase of XCMG equipment inventory in the Middle East market year by year, the customer demand for post-market service has also been constantly rising, and accordingly, the scale of the original service spare parts center has become a bottleneck restricting XCMG development in the local area。
Since the second half of last year, XCMG and Saud Bahwan Group, a local distributor in Oman, have invested a great deal of manpower and material resources to upgrade the spare parts center in an all-round way。 After completion, the new XCMG Oman Spare Parts Center covers a total area exceeding 8,000㎡, and is capable of storing spare parts with a gross value of more than 20 million US dollars, and carrying out repair and maintenance operations on over 10 XCMG equipment at the same time。
In addition to increasing investment in service hardware, XCMG also continuously beefs up its employees. In order to better integrate into local culture, XCMG not only dispatches Chinese service engineers to local area, but hires a large number of excellent local service engineers. The service engineers are all trained by the XCMG headquarters. With exquisite skills and over 10 years of service experience in construction machinery, they are able to provide considerate, meticulous and convenient services for customers.
XCMG has always been committed to providing customers with value-added services throughout the whole product life cycle, and constantly optimizing and improving the construction of service system for the past few years. As XCMG accelerates its pace in implementing the "going out" strategy, 4 R&D centers, 14 manufacturing bases and KD factories, more than 2000 service terminals, over 300 distributors and 40 offices have been established overseas.
Ever since 2011, XCMG has intensified its efforts to strengthen the construction of overseas spare parts network system. XCMG East Africa Spare Parts Center, XCMG Mongolia Spare Parts Center and other large-scale spare parts centers have been built and put into use. The number of overseas service spare parts centers jointly built by XCMG and its distributors has reached 50.
